I remember....

....how we opened a bag of crisps when we stillled in the mulderij and found that the crisps were no longer crispy. There was a hole in the bag, made by a mouse. So we captured the tiny fieldmouse and released it at the Geestmerambacht.

I remember....

... my mother telling me that I was a relaxed and easy going too, just like Galen. That I slept well. And that I could fill up my diaper in one go, just like Galen. And we, i and my brothers, were all late with getting teeth.

... that one year we campes on camping Alkmaar because our house was being reconstructed or something. I was sleeping in the fronttent. When I could up in the morning, getting of my campingbed, I stepped in water. It had rained so hard that the ground could not take so much water.

... that we went for a big icecream at the end of the summerholiday in the Italian place in Egmond. The place where my mother went with her parents to get icecream.

I remember....

..... how we went to visit your grandmother in Amsterdam. We were getting of the bus right after and old lady. She slipped on the stairs leaving the bus. In a reflex I stuck out my arms and prevented her from falling.

I remember....

.... how we watched Gilmore Girls, with light crisps and a dipsauce.

I remember....

.... the morning in the shed. I was a bit late, so I asked you to get my bike. But I ran into you in the shed. We started kissing and getting horny. So I made you come, in the shed, with our neighbours walking around in their garden.

I remember....

.... The first time I saw you. We were both in the Intersphere. I was there with Mark and Rogier to celebrate R's birthday. You were sitting at a table and you said 'fuck you'. I do not know to whom. I responded with 'yes, please'.

I remember...

... Galen at the consultatiebureau. He was playing with a block and he was offered a second one, because teh nurse wanted to see if he could keep a thing in both of his hands simultanously. Galen looked at the block and dropped one, so the nurse gave it back to him. He looked at it again and dropped it again. So she tried a third time and he dropped it again. The fourth time Galen turned and looked at her like :'Dude, I dropped it three times, don't you get that I do not want it? Go away'. Then she stopped and decided that he could do it. We started to talk and Galen turned, picked up the block and started to slam it together with the other block.

.... also in this meeting. The nurse picked Galen up and tried to make him sit to see whether he could do it. He sat and he keeped on sitting when she took her hands of him. We looked at each other astonished, because we never tried whether he could sit, because he always stands up immediately.
